The Glenrowan Sportsbar and Grill was named after the farmers James and George Rowan. These farmers worked in the area in the late 1800’s, and the area was home to the infamous Ned Kelly, who died in a shootout with the police at the township post office and brought great notoriety to the area. Now Yonkers, NY, serves as the home to our excellent restaurant, and we hope to continue some of the cultural traditions the region is famous for.
The Glenrowan Sportsbar and Grill is the perfect spot for a quick pint or a delicious corned beef Reuben. Whether you’re here for our famous fish and chips or are hoping to meet up with some friends at the bar, you’re sure to have a great time when you set foot in our restaurant. We’re a great place for your bachelor or bachelorette party, birthday, wedding meal, retirement celebration, or fundraiser, and you can be certain you’ll get great food and even better service when you come to us!
